MY INSIGHTS
As I
started the sem I thought that Lab Man will be not helpful in our course but
then, I realized the essence why we took this subject. I've learned that the
foundation of all is PLANNING wherein we anticipate the future and either shape
it to their own ends or prepare , it will all boils down to planning because if
you don't have plan or goal the project you will be making will be worthless.
You should also consider in building your own laboratory if you are good enough
to be a manager you should be good as A PERSON, A SERVANT and as A
REPRESENTATIVE.
In building your own lab you should also know how many, and who are the staff you will be needing. Staffing determining personnel and job needs, recruiting qualified staff, matching with appropriate job, and training. In line with this you will be needing persons who will help you in building and working, making a ORGANIZATION together you will all accomplish your one GOAL which is giving a QUALITY , PRECISE and ACCURATE test results to people.
It is crucial to COMMUNICATE effectively in negotiations to ensure you achieve your goals. Ways to improve communications are you are a good listener, empathy and also repetition. In planning your laboratory in the future you take it to consideration the LABORATORY INFORMATION SYSTEM wherein it incorporates all of the aspects of the informational needs of the lab and its customers, from the intake of requests for services to the processing of work flow and the delivery of results.
And lastly to ensure the quality of service you should always check the capability of your machines. Quality assurance actions
necessary to provide enough confidence that a product or service will satisfy
the given requirements for quality. Developed out of the limitations
of the QC approach and defined quality in health care institutions by the
success of the total organization in achieving the goals of patient care. Lab management is a good guide on how and where to put up your laboratory.
"We're all of us guinea
pigs in the laboratory of God. Humanity is just a work in progress."
